Had my first experience of blood donation yesterday =P!!! Funny shit we were doing, wanted to try something new... The declaration form had some strange questions on it. Marvin, justin n I were laughing out when we did the questionaire. Can't blame us though, they asked questions like Have u ever had sex wif another MALE, lol!!! Wat abt animals? Justin wanted to hold the hands of the person next to him if it was a gurl, acting as if he was in pain and win some sympathy from the gurl....(luckily for him, he tio Bingrong, HAHA!!!)
Had to do some blood test first. The nurse poked my finger tip and squeezed hell lot of blood out to drop in some copper sulphate solution, damn fun!!
I was First among the three of us to get the needles(8th in AJC, yeah!). Tio some old philipino maid(auntie)...Bloody inexperience...I still asked if she will miss or not....she still can act like damn pro like dat, say so thick still miss i need to change glasses liao...Then she pushed the needle of the painkiller in and turned the needle for no good farking reason, OUCH!!!...She seriously needs to change her glasses.......Ah, the irony, painkiller was the painest(is there such a word?), bearable though....I almost wanted to say:" Auntie, very pain u noe or not?" .....Luckily the painkiller took effect almost immeadiately. Looked at the auntie poke the bloody thick tube into my bulging vessels....I was glad dat at least she injected the painkiller or i would have screamed the bloody hell out of her....
She handed me a cute little heart shaped toy for me to squeeze, haha, damn cute! Aniway, the process was rather fast for me, lesser than 5 mins(ME HAVE STRONG HEART =P, HEHE!!!), the philipino maid let me choose the colour for my bandage, damn cute lar, blue wif little cars on it.... had my hand bandaged to aid the blot clotting while waiting for marvin to finish.... went out to kope the drinks and oreo, lol, free drinks, koped 3 packetc of milo, 1 mineral water and OREOS, hehe....Should be able to cover the cost of me making all those blood....
Waited damn long for justin to finish.....according to him, he had low blood pressure, but i rather think he wanted to spend more time wif bingrong =P....The time he took to fill up 1 pack of blood could have allow us to fill up 3 packets.....damn slow, ZZZ
Tio screwed by juliet yim after we went late for GP due to the blood donation drive..... she serioudly needs to sort out her priorities....She places GP in front of saving lives( i quote: "how can u skip GP for such nonsense?", well something like dat).....wat the hell is wrong wif the morals of AJC teachers......
Could feel the toll on my stamina after donating the blood, pant easier during tennis....Somemore the philipino maid made my arm hurt like siao because of her sadistic way of injecting/turning syringe needles in my vessels......Couldn't zham the balls.....constantly paranoid, thinking dat the blood was bursting out of the wound....=P
Aniway, damn funny when i asked y Hwee Teng couldn't donate blood......She told me she was 43kg, lighter than the requirement of 45kg....Then the nurse said dat Helen's vein was too small. couldn't find....in the end oso cannot donate....lol....took the blood test liao then say cannot donate....
Aniways, donate blood, save lives(and get cute dolls + free F&B), so wat r u waiting for? Go find some philipino maid now!!!
